Review Time: CLinique 3 Step Skin Care

This is a review for the Clinique 3 Step Skin Care System
Price: $59.00
(Liquid Soap $15.00; Clarifying lotion $20.00, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel $24.00)
Total price will vary depending on the size of the bottles or if you get a bar soap instead of the liquid soap. These are just the prices for the actual products I own.
Description: This skincare consists of 3 steps: Cleanse, Exfoliate and Moisturize. Clinique claims to improve the looks of your skin after just one week of using this system. You will also notice less flakiness, more even texture, makeup will go on easier. In two weeks you'll see that the moisture level of your skin is more balanced, skin feels smoother, more resilient, and more radiant. Overtime you'll notice that drier skin will feel more comfortable, oiler skin is less shiny, less prone to breakouts, skin looks so good, you will actually need less makeup.

My take on it:
I have been using this system for about 5 months. I am not one to get acne on my face all the time but I do (or did) get it every now and then and when it came it took forever to get rid of it, so that was my reason for trying this system.
I started out as a #3 on the skincare system, the way you determine your number is by taking a short test on their website (http://www.clinique.com/) or by talking to a clinique specialist at any clinique counter. So depending on the answers you give they'll assign a specific system to match your skin needs.
So, like I said, I started out as a number 3 because of the amount of pimples I would get and after using it for about 3 months I was changed to a number 2 because now I barely get any zits at all, if any!
I absolutely love these products, I know they are a bit pricey but worth every penny. I have gotten rid of my blemishes, even out my skin and I don't get break outs as easy anymore. Some of the other great improvements I've noticed are: I don't have to use concealer anymore (except for my undereye circles), I use half as much foundation, which means my foundation will last a lot longer and therefor I will save money (not really, I will just find something else to spend my money on, haha).
I give these products a 5 out of 5... I definitely recomend it!

Where to begin...

This past month and a half has been so incredibly busy and amazing for me at the same time. I had my baby on the 23rd of June (2 weeks 5 days early!) and ever since then I have barely had time to even take a bath (I know, gross!) but slowly I am getting back into the normal rythm of things.

Makeup is one of the things that keeps my spirit up when I am feeling down, and all you out there who know what the baby blues, or even what post partum depression feels like, will know what I mean. Even though I haven't been able to get "prettied up" everyday like I would like to, I still try to keep up with my morning and evening skincare routine, it is hard to believe that somedays you can be so tired to not even want to wash your face.

I have also been out shopping a lot, you know, a girl is gotta keep up with the makeup market out there! haha!! Here is a picture of all the stuff I bought and that hopefully I'll be writing reviews on soon... lemme know if you would like a review of a specific product.

Be patient with me!

Wondering what's going on with me and why I haven't posted anything for a while? Well, please be patient with me! I just had my baby a couple of weeks ago and life has been pretty crazy for us over here.
I have been trying a few different things in the meanwhile and I will be posting some reviews in the next few days. Also, I took advantage of the Nordstrom's anniversary presale and got me a new Clinique 3 step skincare in #2 and the Mac's face brush kit.
Anywho, please be patient with me as I am trying to get my life back to normal the best that I can. I will post new stuff as soon as possible.
